USC-1 - the USB scanner controller

The USC-1 is a SAM compatible hardware module to drive a 2- or 3-axis laser scan system over a standard USB host interface.

Due to its compactness and I/O capabilities the USC-1 is easy to integrate and allows to control a complete machinery over a single communication line.
Together with the Flash option or an attached PC/104 or PanelPC, flexible embedded solutions can be implemented. Short execution cycle times make the USC-1 perfectly suitable for high performance applications.

  • 2 x 8-bit analog channels with 2.5, 5, 10 V output range
  • 1 x 8-bit TTL output port

  • XY2-100 digital interface

  • 6 opto-isolated inputs and outputs
  • RS 232 interface
  • encoder inputs for marking on the fly
