SAM library could hang forever at startup, e.g. at Windows10 tablet, during setup and more:
Reason were some implementations in DllMain, which could cause hangup forever, if some other function call load additional Dll's.
DllMain now only executes 'simple' code - so no more any code which loads some more Dll's during DllMain ...
