Bitmap Grayscale PWM with USC2: increase resolution
Description:
Using the USC1 or USC2 card and if marking bitmaps in PWM grayscale CO2 mode, the resolution for the Pulsewidtsh is 500ns.
This leads to a limited number of different graylevels depending on the freq and whether the laser already reaches full power at 50% dutycyle.
For example:
50 kHz
max power at 50% duty cyle
res = 500 ns
=> 20 different gray values
An internal new mode should be realized - only available if using the USC2:
the USC2 will automatically switch to a resultion of 20 ns
in above example we would then have 500 theoretical different grey values, means all 255 different values from the bitmap lead to a different pulselength
