Backport for 1129: serial number imported from a .txt file lead to software crash
Description:
if a new serial number is generated within the SerialNumber property page and a file is selected via "File" and "Select...", then a .txt file is selected via "Browse ..."->ASCII Files (.txt)->Open->OK the software crashes.
